Hello ive been repairing a cat and I noticed on the schematic that the tantalum (c82) and big electrolytic (c78) in the psu seems to be the wrong way round. the positive side of the cap should be on GND and the negative on -15? this is what I did but the service manual has them the other way round!

Is this correct?

based on schematic here

Dear clack,

Do you have the +15v and -15V on the P1A connector of the PSU?
Check if your Condensator was desold or not .
If not try to change your DC regulator

Best regard,

Xarolium

hey xarolium,

Sorry , I think you misunderstood, im trying to ask if the schematic is wrong or am I missing somthing? see those caps I mentioned and the + seems to be on -15 and - on 0v. It makes sense the current goes in the wrong direction , but I always get a nagging feeling that I am probably wrong!!!
